Luca was born Cloche Leythal Pastalia, the daughter of the 32nd Holy Maiden Arshe. However, a year after she was born, the Holy Maiden was assassinated in a coup d'état. The Neo Grand Bell took control of the land, while Cloche was spirited away by Lady Arshe's most trusted attendant: Reisha Trulyworth. She and her husband fled with the child. In order to hide her from the new regime, and any who would use her, they named her Luca and took her as their daughter.

When they finally managed to settle down, they had another child: Leyka Trulyworth. Luca quickly took to being a big sister. She and Leyka adored one another. Their time together was brief and joyous. Leyka was diagnosed with Infel Pira Dependency at age 3. It was a high-level infection for a child so young. The Grand Bell sent a task force to contain the destructive child. Even after Leyka had burned down their house and taken lives with her out-of-control magic, Luca strove to protect her. In the end, Reisha was forced to take Luca and run. Luca's father promised that he and Leyka would both come back safely. They didn't.

Reisha and Luca moved to a new house in Mint Block. There, they took in a boy whose parents had died in Leyka's outbreak. This was Croix, the game's protagonist. He and Luca got along well, although Luca's heart wasn't entirely in it. Their family was poor, and even at her young age Luca was working. After Leyka was taken, Reisha grew cold and Luca's relationship with her mother soured. Still, she smiled and stayed close to Croix.

Sometime before she turned 13, Luca awakened as a Reyvateil. Despite the fact that this process involves being bedridden with fever, Luca was happy. As a Reyvateil, she could work high-paying jobs. She started work in Rakshek as a Dive Therapist. The training is described as horrible. She would attempt to shape her mind, to the point she wanted to throw up or collapse. Her master wasn't very sympathetic. Even when she worked her hardest and found success, she then had to face the envy of other Therapists. She harbored suicidal thoughts, but held onto one hope.

If Croix could get into the Grand Bell Knights, he would live in Pastalia. If he lived in Pastalia, Luca could visit him. She could find where they held IPD Reyvateils and rescue Leyka. So, at 14, she started casually dating Croix. She even promised to sponsor his knighthood. Croix, knowing how tight money was, saw this as a gesture of infinite kindness. In truth, it was all Luca's manipulation. At 15, she saw him off and awaited the day she could join him.

The day before Luca was scheduled to go to Pastalia, there was an attack on the Holy Maiden Cloche by the Sacred Army. Croix was mobilized to defend her and they ended up meeting in the crowded town of Rakshek. Luca and Cloche started off on bad terms, with the Holy Maiden unable to look past Luca's unscrupulous job. Still, Croix begged Luca to shelter the Maiden in her home. The Axis Train was heavily guarded by the Sacred Army, so they ended up making the four-hour walk to Mint Block.

After a brief stay at Luca's house the group met with Leglius, the Captain of the Grand Bell Knights. At the same time, Lady Cloche's life extending agent needed to be replaced. Croix was given the task. Luca rushed off to avoid watching him insert into another girl. However, with everyone giving the scene privacy, the Sacred Army has opportunity to strike. Everyone quickly regrouped but they found themselves surrounded. As a barrage of Song Magic descended on them, Luca cried out in fear. The D-Cellophane in her body activated, which blew back back the enemies and caused the Sacred Army to retreat.

Everyone fell back to Luca's house. Reisha recognized Leglius, which made her defensive. As a member of the Neo Grand Bell, he was a threat to her household. However, because they used to know each other they were able to speak candidly together. While everyone was resting, they discussed Luca, "the girl [Reisha was] entrusted with from Enna Palace." Luca overheard the whole conversation. Reisha, stressed, snapped at Leglius. Luca heard her mother say that it only hurt to have her around and if Leglius was there to take her, he just should. Luca, full of unstable emotions, ran off to Enna Palace to find the truth about herself.

Amarie, a traveler the group helped, went with her. In Enna they found a sequence of beautiful wall murals that illustrated the world's positive relationship with the Goddess. Upon reading some of the Hymnos language on the mural Luca could suddenly understand Amarie's cute Mascot Animal, Soope. Amarie explained that the Neo Grand Bell, with their war against the Goddess, was entirely wrong. At this point Chester, one of the masterminds of the Sacred Army, appeared to greet the true Goddess Maiden... Luca. Before anything could come of this revelation, Croix and Company arrived on the scene.

Upon returning home, Luca and her mother quarreled. When she fled the house again, Cloche followed her. Luca and Cloche began yelling at one another until Cloche abruptly collapsed. The party wasn't aware at the time, but this was a flare of IPD Syndrome, aggravated by the emotional tension of the scene. Leglius, who was well aware, explained that they had to risk a dangerous journey back to the Sacred Army-occupied Grand Bell Headquarters. Luca insisted she come along. After all, she figured then would be the perfect time to rescue Leyka in the chaos.

As they crossed Ironplate Desert, the heat and stress gets to Cocona, Croix's little-sister figure from Pastalia. She manifested Level 7 IPD Syndrome, which was high enough for a ship of knights from Pastalia to swoop in. Thanks to Cocona's infection, Lady Cloche was escorted safely back to HQ. However, Cocona was also contained and Croix's morale shaken. He pulled himself together into order to retake Grand Bell HQ from the Sacred Army. Afterwords, they are invited to Lady Cloche's birth ceremony.

Luca tried to comfort Croix at his house, but the false intimacy between them made it more difficult than ever. Instead, she excused herself to go look around the city. She first checked with the Dive Shop in town. Dive Therapy was illegal in Pastalia, but she asked anyways. Then, she begins to look for the lift that will take her to the Slums. Many IPD Reyvateils hid there and Luca wanted to look for any clue to Leyka's location. Croix and Amarie ended up getting Lady Cloche's help; they found Luca in front of the lift. They went together, with Luca begging Lady Cloche not to report what she sees.

There were no signs of Leyka, but a girl- Reine- had an outbreak while the group is there. They subdued her, but Luca adamantly stopped Croix before he can contain her. Her willpower abruptly overcame the group and they took Reine up to the main level of Pastalia at Luca's instruction. Luca insisted that Dive Therapy could cure IPD Symptons--and, using her skills as a Therapist, single-handedly managed to cure Reine's. When they parted, Luca was sure that Lady Cloche witnessing her success would change how Dive Therapy was viewed by the government.

After all, the government wouldn't want these Reyvateils to suffer... right?

At Lady Cloche's birth ceremony, Luca was again approached by Chester and the Sacred Army. They explained that they could tell her where the IPD Labs were located, if she cooperated with them on one thing. When Cloche gave her birthday speech the Sacred Army appeared, decrying her as a false maiden. Chester gave the signal and Luca walked out on stage, decked in the attire of Holy Maiden Arshe. She then sang EXEC_SOL=FAGE/. as proof of her lineage. In the ensuing chaos, Croix rushed the two girls away from the crowd. Luca insisted over Cloche's objections: she would go to the labs.

In the labs, the group reunited with Cocona. Then, Luca found what she had been searching for: a door with a plaque labeled "Leyka Trulyworth." However, the scared girl inside explained that she isn't Leyka. She was just moved in there recently. She heard that the girl in there before her... died. Luca was in shock while Amarie explained: the Grand Bell had been purposefully trying to increase the number of IPD outbreaks. The IPD that were contained were experimented on and used as tools in the war against the Goddess. Luca raged against Lady Cloche: "I can't believe I thought you were nice!"

The Grand Bell quickly closed in on the situation and threw the group in jail. Luca broke down and admitted that she had only ever helped Croix to get closer to Leyka. That she had used him. That there had never been anything between them. Her own life-extending agent almost ran out while she struggled and insisted to do it herself. Croix ended up doing it for her, delivered a sick burn, and was released by Captain Leglius.

In the aftermath, Croix was left with a choice: stay with the Grand Bell and Lady Cloche, or flee with Luca to join the Sacred Army.

Croix remained with the Grand Bell. Even betrayed, he felt loyalty to Lady Cloche--who had discovered she was not Cloche and was Not Dealing Well With It. Luca left with the Sacred Army, Amarie, Chester, and a wolf-like vassal of the Goddess named Shun. Shun directed them to retrieve the Hymn Crystal Hibernation. They explained to Luca that Hibernation would shut down the Infel Pira, neutering the Grand Bell's greatest weapon against the Goddess. Luca downloaded the crystal and the Sacred Army prepared to strike. The Grand Bell had retrieved the Hymn Crystal Replakia and was preparing to demonstrate its power.

At the ceremony, Luca briefly tried to reason with Lady Cloche. However, the two couldn't come to an agreement. Luca attempted to sing Hibernation over Lady Cloche's Replakia, but abruptly found herself unable to breathe. The Goddess' power could not be accessed. Replakia was sung. That merited quick retaliation from the domain of the Goddess. Raki, a battle android from the tower, descended. However, the great power of Replakia made even her pause. That was enough for the robotic Jacqli to pin her down. As more members of Her Divine Army descended from the tower, the group found themselves overpowered. Reisha, having come from Mint Block when Luca arrived on stage, joined the fray. When she was hit by a stray spell, Luca's D-Cellophane activated again. Abruptly, the world started to shake. The Goddess' power to hold up the world was failing.

Luca and Cloche were forcibly moved from the scene. Laude, a member of the Neo Grand Bell, revealed the Hymn Crystal Metafalica. The two were told they must sing and actualize Metafalica immediately. The download filled Luca with a calming, warm feeling. Cloche felt nothing, but this couldn't be questioned. They had to sing. Ignoring Cloche's hesitance proved fatal. Their Metafalica failed. A bolt of lightning shot from the sky, aimed at Luca's heart. At the last moment, Cloche knocked Luca out of the way. A piece of land was formed in the sky, in exchange for Lady Cloche's life.

When the land quieted, the group decided to take Lady Cloche to Promise Hill, the tomb of Maidens. However, she was revealed to be alive. She appeared to Luca in a dream. The failed Metafalica took Lady Cloche's soul as the core of the new land. With her negative emotions "refined," she was launching an attack from her new land, Gaea. Angels symbolizing law descended to attack the populace. Croix and his company had to beg the chairman of the Grand Bell to halt his retaliation. Luca found herself unable to to anything but apologize and cringe, but they were fortunately granted time to try and restore Lady Cloche.

They ascended the tower to Gaea. At first, they found nothing but a lone village and the mysterious woman from inside the robot: Jacqli. Luca, desperate to talk to Lady Cloche, decided to try the same method again: sleeping with Soope as a pillow. It was how Lady Cloche communicated with her at Promise Hill. However, scared to go alone, she had Croix sleep next to her. The two were welcomed to the Infelsphere. There, they heard Lady Cloche's intentions: to build a world of absolute law, where there was no crime or suffering. Despite Cloche's defensiveness, the world of Gaea expanded.

Luca and Croix were forced to explore the twisted, false land of Gaea. For every conversation they held with Lady Cloche, they were welcomed in deeper. Each new area held a challenge given by a projection of Lady Cloche. They were even granted a "keyhole," a version of Lady Cloche to fight alongside them and accept the Infelsphere keys. While the challenges on Gaia were strenuous, Luca found herself mentally strained by the Infelsphere. In order to better understand Lady Cloche, she relived events of the Maiden's life. Her perception of Cloche's luxurious Maiden position was turned on its head. Still, despite her effort, they fought and clashed. Right before they found the Heart of Gaea, Cloche's true soul, the land lashed out one more time. This time it was a blatant attempt to kill Luca, the threat to Cloche's legitimacy, the girl who never had to suffer like she did.

Barely surviving, they came upon the Heart of Gaea. A song echoed through the chamber, conversing with the crystal. After the group faced a manifestation of Cloche's anxiety, Jacqli revealed herself and claimed the Heart. Gaea began to crumble without its heart. The group was forced to flee Gaea and immediately set on tracking down Jacqli. When they found her, she nonchalantly explained that Cloche's heart wasn't what she needed. She returned it and joined the party. At first, attempts to return the Heart of Gaea to Cloche's body failed: Jacqli claimed that Cloche didn't want to return. Croix entered the Infelsphere to convince her, while Luca watched over her body. When Lady Cloche did return, the two immediately said what they honestly felt: "I'm sorry!"

Returning to Pastalia, Amarie abruptly went missing. The group had to to chase after Amarie, who ran to Kanakana Pier, her old hometown. Jacqli also insisted the village may have information on how to successfully create Metafalica, so it was a two-birds-with-one-stone situation. Kanakana Pier was hidden by Teru magic. The group stayed at Luca's house while they tried to find a way in. The house had been vandalized after the failed Metafalica. Still, Reisha was smiling and glad that Luca was safe. They talked and then Reisha gave the group a clue of how to get into the secret village.

The group descended into the Rim itself and they eventually found Kanakana Pier, Amarie, and the sleeping body of the Goddess Frelia.

Abruptly, the Sacred Army entered the room. The group was arrested and thrown into the jail of the former-Neo Grand Bell HQ. Luca and Cloche were taken to Chester's co-mastermind, the legitimate heir to the Papal line, Prince Targana. He explained that Cloche would become the sacrifice upon which the new regime is built. Luca was given the choice to cooperate with the Sacred Army or die alongside the Maiden of Disaster.

She chose sacrifice. But, as she told Lady Cloche while tied to the stake, she didn't plan to die. She was gambling with a force she had only seen twice before. Right before the execution, the D-Cellophane activated. The girls were freed and quickly fled into Grand Bell Hall. Both weakened, Cloche still used her sword to protect Luca and fend off members of the Sacred Army as they ran.

However, Frelia had awakened. The Sacred Army was using her to sing Hibernation for its true purpose: The Ascension. If Hibernation was completed, all human beings would live on as data alone. The Infel Pira would be reformatted, sacrificing all IPD Reyvateils, to function as data storage for all humans on Metafalss. As the Infel Pira's data was deleted, Lady Cloche slowly lost her strength. Luca was forced to carry her up to the Hill of Metafalica. Meanwhile, Croix and the rest of the party desperately attempted to cut off Hibernation any way they can. Croix was about to fail, when Luca made it to the summit with Cloche. She spoke out to the Goddess and Frelia ceased singing. The Maidens were about to face punishment from Prince Targana when Shun, the Divine Messenger, interfered.

However, all IPDs in the world were still unconscious. Only Lady Cloche clung to her identity and memories while bedridden. Chester, lamenting his participation in Hibernation, revealed the location of a Hymn Crystal able to restore all the IPD Data: the Hymn Crystal Implanta. Cloche and Cocona were left to rest at Croix's house, with Luca watching over them, while the group left for Kanakana Pier once again.

Luca agreed to download the crystal and sing for Lady Cloche and all the IPDs. In a cruel twist of fate, however, Implanta could only be sung by an IPD Reyvateil. Lady Cloche, frail and exhausted, agreed to sing it. They headed to Grand Bell Hall to reason with Prince Targana. Lady Cloche and Luca couldn't move his heart, but Croix challenged him. When they were children, before Targana was recognized as prince, the two sparred together. Targana accepted the challenge and told Croix to meet him at one of their childhood haunts, prepared for a duel.

The duel was interrupted by another quake, but Croix saved Targana's life in the chaos. The prince declared him temporarily the winner. Cloche sang Implanta, restoring the IPD Reyvateils to their worried families. Targana surrendered the government to the Maidens. He demanded that Lady Cloche execute him to make it official. Luca was horrified by his proposal and Lady Cloche's nonchalant acceptance. She was prepared to interfere when Cloche simply slashed the air in front of Targana. Cloche, full of poise, declared his old self dead and demanded his new self swear fealty to the Holy Maidens. Half-grateful, half-humiliated, Targana accepted.

While Cloche was giving Targana his orders for uniting the Neo Grand Bell and Sacred Army under Maiden leadership, Shun spoiled the party for everyone. He revealed that Frelia was exceptionally weak. Since her magic holds up the Rim, her weakness would lead to populated areas falling. In order to save the populated areas, the group took off to "purge" the unpopulated areas of the Rim. They were successful in dropping the Dreamy Fields area. Still, seeing the land fall shook Luca and Cloche to the core. The world was in great danger. Only their actions could save it.

Together, they dove into the Infelsphere. Over the course of Gaea, they had completed three levels. The fourth was designed to fix the imbalance of power caused by Lady Cloche being Gaea. Luca was forced to listen to every bit of of Cloche's fears, insecurity, and hate. A lot of it was directed at her, the legitimate Goddess Maiden. She took as much as she could, until she finally snapped. At the end of the level, the two got into a complete fight. Not a word was left unsaid in that fight. They let loose everything they hated about each other, everything they didn't understand about one another. The ferocity of their anger almost led to a critical down.

However, in that moment, a surge of memories sprung forth. Cloche's fate, spiraling backwards in time, until the start of her suffering: when she was taken from her family as Leyka Trulyworth. When she was kept in a dark room and experimented on until one day, a man told her she could have a new name. She didn't have to be miserable Leyka. She could be Cloche. Level 4 of the Infelsphere was cleared. The two woke up, breathing heavily with the sudden revelation. The Infelsphere had revealed two very important facts:

1) The reason Metafalica failed was because Metafalica was two songs meant to be sung at once, by the Maiden of Fuero and the Maiden of Aqua.
2) Cloche Leythal Pastalia, the Maiden of Aqua, was actually Leyka, the little sister of Luca Trulyworth, the Maiden of Fuero.

The two sisters, re-energized towards their goal of creating Metafalica, set out to their next goal. Frelia's power was steadily weakening and they needed to purge another area. This time they could only stand to keep the populated areas up. Everything else had to fall. The group returned to Kanakana Pier and Cat Mansion to secure whatever books on Metafalica remain. Once those were retrieved, another great chunk of the Rim fell.

Luca briefly returned to Rakshek for a Dive Therapy session. While waiting, Lady Cloche was accosted by the populace. All the people that were so kind and supportive of Luca looked to vent their fear and frustration on Cloche. Cloche planned to accept it all but Luca intervened and spoke on her behalf. When the crowd dispersed, she apologized for the people. Pleased that Luca came to Cloche's defense, the final Infelsphere key appeared. With that, they could retrieve Cloche's Metafalica.

The fifth level of the Infelsphere was a celebration of how far they had come. Their transformation from a mismatched princess and pauper to true Maidens of Fuero and Aqua was complete. The two began to explore their shared memories as children when a terrible chain of events started. Abruptly, the Infelsphere was invaded by a pair not unlike themselves. Infel and Nenesha, the Maidens from a failed Metafalica 400 years ago, burst onto the scene. Infel explained that Luca had an important "key," and she needed to borrow it. Luca and Cloche were abruptly kicked from the Infelsphere- and Luca wouldn't wake up.

The group ran to Rakshek. Cloche was afraid, but knew the people would help Luca. Croix used the Dive Shop facilities to find the problem. Luca's Dive Therapist friend, Nana, quickly agreed to help with the Proxy Dive. Inside Luca's Soulspace was an empty, vacant Luca... and Nenesha. Or, as she called herself, "the key to Nenesha." Croix shut her down to keep her activity from eating up Luca's life energy. He was almost lost in the resulting critical down but Nana freed him at the cost of severely damaging her mind. Luca woke up and only the firm direction of Jacqli kept her from being stunned by her friend's perceived sacrifice.

Reisha, meanwhile, had heard of Luca's plight. She was visited by Laude, the scientist who took Leyka away. She didn't trust him, but Laude promised a way to wake Luca up. She simply had to go to a certain place and sing the lullaby she used to sing for Luca. She was gone when Croix and Luca returned to the house. They ran to the Moon Culvert and fought their way down while the lullaby echoed through the halls. At the very bottom of the Moon Culvert was a contained Heart of Gaea- Nenesha's Heart. Luca's arrival activated the D-Cellophane and revealed the Heart. Laude took it- but he was quickly struck down by Raki. Raki retrieved the Heart and deemed Luca "useless," now that the key had been used. She prepared to execute her.

Reisha shoved Luca out of the way, taking the blow. In shock again, the group was forced to repel Raki by force. They barely managed it. In the aftermath, Luca and Cloche were reduced to tears. They desperately sang, trying to heal Reisha's wound. Her energy couldn't last any longer. She smiled and thanked them. She thanked Cloche for the the short amount of time she was her daughter. She apologized to Luca, who admitted that she never hated her. Reisha Trulyworth passed away. Her daughters buried her in Mikry Forest.

Resolute, Luca and Cloche went to the Infelsphere to complete the fifth level. They returned to their childhood, where the mother in their memories held and praised them. They unlocked the second Metafalica. The crystal was actually Soope itself. In its last moments, Cloche could finally understand him. They said fond goodbyes and Soope became the Hymn Crystal Metafalica. Cloche asked Luca to install the sacred song to her.

Afterwards, Cloche discussed Metafalica with Shun. The Metafalica from 400 years ago failed because of the "Goddess," who was not Frelia. They would seek the truth and ask her permission to sing. Shun explained that the Tower to the Goddess required a huge amount of energy. In order to make it appear, they would have to drop half the Rim. Cloche decided to address the people. Luca asked to appear on stage with her but Cloche refused. As always, Cloche would be the public figure that took all the burden. It was different from before, as she had Luca supporting her while she sung METHOD_METAFALICA/. The people understood her heart and supported her.

With the people energized, the group retrieved the Hymn Crystal Veena. While the Divine Army tried to impede them, the various IPDs the group had saved burst onto the scene. Led by Reine, they held off the mechs until Veena was safely in their possession. Even the Grand Bell Knights came and fought alongside IPDs they would have contained. The people of Rakshek came up to cheer for them. With Veena in hand, Luca's acquaintances praised her and hoped she'd come sing for them again.

Luca, embarrassed, but admitted that her dream was to sing. It wasn't a dream she could make money with, so she had tried to hide it. Everyone encouraged her, so she agreed to sing a song. The group went to Rakshek's Town Center and Luca sang Hartes Ciel, Melanes Walayse. The Hymnos title translates to "Beloved World, Beloved People." It signified Luca's growth as a character and her desire to sing Metafalica with the world. Pastalia, Enna, and Rakshek all agreed to the plan to raise the tower.

The only bastion of resistance was Mint Block. With patience and communication, the Mayor agreed to evacuate. He only lamented that they could take the Guardian of Mikry Forest with them. Luca stayed in Mint Block for a while, reliving her fond memories. It was a hard decision for her to make. After reminiscing, she and Cloche visited Reisha's grave one last time. Luca took a memento, a hair comb. The two girls promised their mother that they would take care of each other. At that point, Luca offered Cloche a gift- A sun pendant. She had secretly asked Reisha for Leyka's birthday. It was that day. Cloche also returned the moon pendant Luca had thrown away after the IPD Labs. She had held onto it the whole time.

When leaving Mikry Forest, the group found a hidden passage. Following it through, they found a small Heart of Gaea. The Guardian of Mikry Forest was actually a heart, creating the whole forest around it. They took the heart and gave it to the mayor. With the Guardian, they would be able to create a new Mikry Forest on Metafalica. With that, the last regret of the people of the Rim was covered. It was time to reveal the tower to the heavens.

The group met with Frelia on top of the Clouds Wharf. Luca promised to build a world where Frelia, merely a girl, could live happily. Then, she sang EXEC_VEENA/. Chunks of land fell into the Sea of Death. The tower materialized for the first time since the war against the Goddess 400 years ago.

With all of Metafalss supporting them, they began to scale the tower. It was obvious that Sol Marta and Frelia had been tampered with. Whoever was behind it would be waiting in Sol Marta- the highest point of the tower. They go through the Hot Spot, where a simple android allowed them to rest. They rushed through a forest Frelia made in her loneliness. They made it to Sol Marta and found Raki. Obviously hacked and not acknowledging Frelia, the group had to temporarily shut her down. They made it to Frelia's former chambers, and-

Found the door locked. They had to quickly run down the tower, to the Hot Spot. Jacqli used the Dive technology there to hack into the system and force the door open. She was kicked, but not before getting a glance of who wanted them out.

Infel. She was responsible for hacking Frelia, using Raki, and manipulating the state of Metafalss for the last 400 years. She was waiting when they opened the doors. She explained that humans were too selfish and spiteful to create Metafalica. The only way for people to have happiness was to live as data, never touching one another. She was behind the actions of the Sacred Army and now hoped to do it on a planet-wide scale. This plan, greater than Hibernation, was Sublimation.

From the Heart of Gaea Raki retrieved, she called Nenesha back to a body. The two of them declared themselves new Goddesses of the world. They began to sing. A dark cloud eclipsed the sun. The group begged them to stop, shouting how humanity still had merit and Metafalica was still possible. In the end, they got the pair to agree to a game. If the protagonists won the game, they could attempt Metafalica. The "game" was a battle against the very trees Frelia grew with her songs, twisted into a horrific form. Cloche knew the group would need firepower to defeat it: Replakia. Her voice rang out, and all IPDs in the world sang in unison. With that blast, and the group's tenacity, the twisted tree fell.

Infel was about to back down when Nenesha spoke. Turning into a Heart of Gaea corrupts a person by "purifying" their feelings to a single, dangerous point. Nenesha was no exception. She took Infel's hands, reminding her that they had important work. They had to protect the people's happiness. Despite the promise of the game, the two kept singing. The group was left with no choice but to strike them down. After the battle, Nenesha vanished. Infel was horrified, having to lose her closest friend yet again. She cried, and demanded to know how Luca and Cloche's Metafalica would be a place with no sadness.

Croix said it couldn't be. Sadness and happiness went hand-in-hand. One couldn't be experienced without the other. Their Metafalica would be a place where all people could live together, sharing those emotions together. Infel, collapsed on her knees like a lost child, told them to hurry up and go sing.

They descended the tower and prepared to sing. Luca and Cloche were full of nervous anticipation, but sure they could do it. They had come so far and would not fail. They began to sing. The dynamics of Metafalica meant that the individual wills of all the people of Metafalss would be focused through Cloche into Luca. Every person would see the quality of Lady Cloche's heart. This pressure and insecurity made her close her heart. The people began to worry, Luca started to choke, and Lady Cloche was desperately trying to keep her heart open. In that moment- Infel interfered. However, rather than trying to stop them, she encouraged Cloche in her own backwards way. She yelled that Cloche was the most pure-hearted, Metafalica-crazy idiot she knew. She told her to sing because Metafalica had always been her dream.

With Metafalica created, the group went their own ways.
Croix and Jacqli left for the first tower together.
Cocona went to the third tower at Jacqli's request.
Luca and Cloche ruled Metafalss together under a two-Maiden system.

Luca continues her work as a Dive Therapist, as well as starting a career as a singer. It's mostly thanks to Cloche's work as Maiden that she has such freedom. The two live as sisters in their private life.
